I have often hesitated to buy something from the internet if I'm not quite sure how well the item will fit me, my room, the surroundings, or as an accessory. For example: If I'm not sure that the colour of an accessory will be exactly what I want it to be when I receive the item then I am unlikely to buy straight away, especially if I've left little time for return and exchange. My understanding is that colours in reality may vary from the website. This is understandable as its all about how a machine interprets a colour (IT clever people know how to word that). I think that this could lose sales for the vendor or cause an unhappy customer to impact the profit chain. Hence how about allowing shoppers to upload their own images onto the vendors website to sit next to the item being considered. That way I could tell what my colours look like on the website via the software being used and then make a more confident and owned decision to buy.
